being born in the spotlight— it could be overwhelming for someone so young , but not the rhee family . they love the spotlight & the spotlight loves them . people are overjoyed when they see them in cast lists , hyping them up , making posts about their previous shows & performances— overall being excited about their upcoming projects . back home in gangnam , south korea— the family was already a household name , both rhee dae-jung & shin hyunjoo being well-known artists , they were one of the top performers , as well as the couple that everyone gushed about . their fans were hyped over the news of their wedding & starting their family , knowing well that their children will follow their parents’ footsteps .

even with the stresses of moving to a completely different country , family remains priority to the rhee’s , as well as education . yohan stopped acting for a while & only continued when he finished elementary . his sisters started taking ballet classes at an early age too— it became apparent that the siblings’ paths for the future were crystal clear . it was stressful for their parents because the industry was evil , especially to the innocent . they’ve talked to yohan about the acting career he wanted pursue & he was aware of what may come his way . their parents were nothing but supportive of their decisions , they’ve never missed a play , performance , recital— people recognized their talents & the family earned nothing but praise . yohan chose to audition for the julliard school & he earned a degree in fine arts in drama . even after he graduated , he continued to attend workshops & even had a hand in broadway acting— that’s when he was starting to get recognized in auditions for bigger roles . his first main role garnered him the best new actor during the golden globes 2019 & he was nominated for an oscar during the same year .

remember the warning that his parents had given him about how evil & manipulative the industry was ? yohan worked hard for the opportunities , but jealousy soon discredit all his hard work . it was his biggest role yet & there several actors who auditioned for that role , but he was the lucky one . the director even said that he was the one he had in mind for the role . filming hasn’t even started & he was caught in scandal where he was exposed one of the producers who was related to one of the actors who auditioned for the role , but failed to get it . he was exposed for bribing the director for the role , provided with receipts . there was no saving him at the time , even with help of the director & other producers , her felt powerless . the family planned to sue , but they decided not to do so last minute & just asking yohan to lay low & go on hiatus

001. yohan is a child actor both in the united states & south korea . he was casted in well-known movies at five years old . since then , yohan loved being in front of a camera , going to sets everyday & spending hours with co-stars . most of his acting training were gained when he moved to the united states .

002. yohan has younger twin sisters who are also in the performing arts industry . he’s extremely protective of them & when he was on hiatus , he would bring them to their lessons & take them to cafes afterwards . his parents were extremely supportive of their careers . they attended the best schools for performing arts & even spent most of their breaks training & learning .

005. yohan has always been secretive about his feelings , he rarely celebrates himself , especially after the scandal . he absolutely loves making friends , he loves taking his friends out for dinner or just driving them anywhere that they need to be . however , he’s seen a lot of his friends , even long-term ones come & go . just like in relationships , he’s not the lucky with friendships . it could be because of his tendency to shut off at random times & isolating himself to escape , but it’s never on purpose . he appreciates his friends checking up on him , that’s why he only has a small circle of friends .

006. his private life is something that the public keeps their eyes & ears on as he’s been in several headlines being a party animal . there have been times that he was seen walking out of his fling’s house or even walking in with them to their hotel late at night— yohan’s very vague about these headlines , not really giving the public any hints of his late night endeavors . he’s had several one night stands , often debunked by both parties’ fans & honest to god , he finds it entertaining .

007. one of his hobbies is taking pictures with film cameras . he’s been collecting them since he was in high school & he’s had different exhibits in new york city that had everyone buzzing . during his hiatus , he took the time to search for more cameras , to the point of traveling to different countries to purchase them . currently , he’s in process of putting together photos for him upcoming exhibit & show room .

I'm in my early 20s and I seen calm when people first meet me, then I get comfortable with em. Turns out I'm a goddamn gremlin who gets the fuckin zoomies when I know person ain't a dick about it. Yohan is one of the least dickish or judgemental men you could ever hope to date. You can do literally anything and he'll be cheering you on and bragging about you to everyone.
